Hospitality NL Announces 2021 Board of Directors


March 3, 2021 – Hospitality Newfoundland and Labrador is pleased to announce the completion of its 2021 Annual General Meeting and the naming of the 2021 Board of Directors.

“Driven by their dedication and passion to advance the tourism industry, the Board of Hospitality Newfoundland and Labrador is comprised of industry leaders who simply want to make a difference,” says Hospitality NL Chair, Brenda O’Reilly. “This past year, our industry has faced many new challenges – our new Board Members bring with them a diverse set of skills that will help us tackle the uneven path ahead.”

Hospitality NL sought nominations for 5 Director-at-Large positions on the 2021 Board of Directors. An election was held from February 16-27th with voting carried out electronically.

Current Board of Directors:

Joe for many years as a Director-at-Large and Larry as both Director-at-Large and past-Chair,” concludes O’Reilly. “I know I speak for everyone when I say how greatly you’ll be missed. The election resulted in a tie for the 5th Director-at-Large position and therefore another run-off election will be called to establish the winner. The run-off election will take place in March 2021 with the date to be determined. 

Hospitality Newfoundland and Labrador, the provincial tourism industry association for over 37 years, is dedicated to advancing growth in tourism through advocacy efforts, skills and knowledge development and membership opportunities.
