St. John Ambulance is widely recognized as the industry leader with its proven combination of expert trainers, personalized instruction, how-to videos and learn-as-you-go training guides.
At Hospitality NL we understand the importance of making high-quality training accessible to all our members. To facilitate this, exclusive discounts will be offered to our members for particular St. John Ambulance courses. Through this partnership, we can help you stay compliant with Occupational Health & Safety and Transport Canada requirements and empower you to create a safer environment for your employees and guests.
The following courses will be accessible at a 15% discount for Hospitality NL members.

Emergency First Aid (Basic)
Emergency First Aid is for individuals requiring basic information on First Aid and CPR for their workplace and is a 1-day course facilitated in-person.
Standard First Aid (Intermediate)
Standard First Aid courses is for individuals requiring comprehensive information on First Aid and CPR and meets provincial regulations for workplace first aid across Canada. Courses are 2 days and facilitated in-person.
Mental Health and Wellness in the Workplace
A one-day peer support-based course designed to address and promote mental health wellness and reduce stigma in the workplace. This course can be held in-person or virtually.
Marine Basic First Aid
Marine First Aid courses meet Transport Canada regulations for training standards for marine first aid and marine medical care. This 2 day, in-person course covers all content from the Standard First Aid course plus a focus on water emergencies.
Marine Advanced First Aid
Marine First Aid courses meet Transport Canada regulations for training standards for marine first aid and marine medical care. Participants require a valid Candidate Document Number (CDN) issued by Transport Canada to register for this 4 day, in-person course.
Hospitality NL members are also entitled to a 15% discount on First Aid Kits from the St. John Ambulance online store.

St. John Ambulance has 120 facilitators located throughout Newfoundland and Labrador, ready to provide training to our members. They also offer certification tracking and send reminders when your certificates are nearing expiration, helping you stay current with your skills.
