Charting a Course Forward 2021-2026

New Tourism Vision and Strategy 2022 – 2026

Under the leadership of the NL Tourism Board, and with the support of the NL Tourism Board partners* a new Provincial Tourism Vision and Strategy is being developed. The goal is to identify new strategies and tactics designed to grow the visitor economy of the Province from 2022 through 2026.

Be A Part of the Planning Process

Over the next six months, as the planning process evolves, your valuable insight is requested, and a series of virtual regional consultation sessions are planned. The first round of regional consultations will take place from February 19-24, 2021. The dates, times and links to register for these sessions are listed below.

As industry and government come together, against the backdrop of unprecedented declines in global travel, now is the time to rally together to take whatever steps are necessary to ensure the long-term viability of the tourism sector in Newfoundland and Labrador. To successfully chart the course forward requires cooperation, collaboration, open minds, and creative thinking. It is with confidence we must move forward together, keeping our eyes focused on the beacons of success to prepare for safer passage on calmer waters in the not-too-distant future.
