Premier Ball to Speak at Upcoming Conference

Hospitality Newfoundland and Labrador is pleased to have the Honourable Dwight Ball, Premier of Newfoundland and Labrador, address delegates during the 37th annual Conference and Trade Show. Premier Ball will speak at the Provincial Tourism Luncheon taking place Wednesday, February 26th from 12:30 pm – 2:00 pm as part of the event.

Hospitality NL is honoured to have Premier Dwight Ball attend and speak at the 2020 Conference & Trade Show and we look forward to having him address delegates during the Provincial Tourism Luncheon on day two. Having the support of Newfoundland and Labrador’s Premier at the largest annual gathering of provincial tourism operators shows just how vital the tourism sector is as an economic driver and professional industry on both a provincial and national level. By working in collaboration with all tourism stakeholders we will continue to grow the tourism industry sustainably and to it’s full potential. We hope Premier Ball will enjoy his time in Corner Brook, touch on some of the issues that are challenging our industry and speak with some of the tourism operators who have dedicated many years to advancing tourism in this province.

For 37 years, Hospitality Newfoundland and Labrador has been the voice of the provincial tourism industry, working on behalf of members and the industry itself to play a crucial role in its development. The tourism industry is a key economic driver in Newfoundland and Labrador consisting of 20,800+ jobs and 2,700+ tourism-related businesses that place accommodations, food & beverage services, transportation, recreation & entertainment and travel services in every corner of our province.
