About Us
Hospitality NL is the leading non-profit industry association supporting and advocating for the tourism sector in Newfoundland and Labrador. With over 500 tourism-related businesses in our network, we champion initiatives that enhance the industry’s competitiveness, economic impact, and sustainability.
We are seeking a Project Manager to lead the implementation of the Exceptional Experiences Program, a strategic initiative supporting the Vision 2026 tourism strategy.
This program aims to elevate Newfoundland and Labrador’s tourism offerings by designating and supporting high-quality, market-ready visitor experiences across the province.
About the Role
As the Project Manager, you will oversee the Exceptional Experiences Program, coordinating with key stakeholders, managing program activities, and ensuring the successful evaluation and designation of tourism experiences. You will play a vital role in engaging tourism operators, facilitating program outreach, and ensuring the program meets its objectives.

Qualifications & Skills
• Post-secondary education in tourism, business administration, project management, or a related field.
• 5+ years of project management experience, preferably in tourism, economic development, or a related sector.
• Strong knowledge of the tourism industry in Newfoundland and Labrador and experience working with tourism operators.
• Experience in stakeholder engagement, training facilitation, and program coordination.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships.
• Strong organizational and time management abilities, with a track record of meeting project milestones.
• Experience with managing budgets, timelines, and performance metrics.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, project management tools, and digital marketing platforms is an asset.
• Ability to work with internal and external stakeholders including other staff, partners, government officials, diverse constituencies, members, etc.
• Excellent organizational and time management skills.
• Ability to multi-task and prioritise working in a fast-paced, demanding environment.
• Prior experience working in a not-for-profit industry association would be asset.
• Ability to travel in the province and have valid driver’s licence.
