Join the Board of Hospitality NL!

The following positions are open for election for the 2026 Hospitality NL’s Board of Directors:

• Director at Large – Two positions are available and are open to all Industry Members in good standing.
• Small Accommodations Representative – Open to Small Accommodations Members in good standing.
• Large Accommodations Representative – Open to Large Accommodations Members in good standing.

There are four phases to Hospitality NL’s Board of Directors Election:

Phase I: Nominations

 Nominations will open for the available positions on December 2, 2025. To submit your nomination, click the appropriate link below:

• Director at Large
• Small Accommodations Representative
• Large Accommodations Representative

Nominations close at 12 noon (NST), January 25, 2026.

Eligibility Criteria for Nominees:

• Must be a member in good standing with Hospitality Newfoundland and Labrador.
• Must represent the industry category as outlined in the Articles of Association.
• Must be the primary, voting representative for the member organization.
• Must be endorsed by two other Hospitality NL members (primary representatives) in good standing.

 

Phase II: Introduction of Candidates

After the nomination deadline, candidate profiles will be shared with all voting members to ensure transparency and informed voting.

Phase III: Voting

Online voting opens on February 10, 2026, and closes on February 21, 2026 at 12:00 pm NST.

Primary representatives from member organizations will receive voting instructions, including a secure link, Voter ID, and Voter Key.

How to Vote:

1. Visit the secure voting website.
2. Log in using the Voter ID and Voter Key provided to you via email.
3. Review voting instructions and candidate profiles. To view candidate profiles, click the information button beside each name.
4. Select your preferred candidate for each position.
5. Submit your vote.

 Phase IV: Results

The election results will be announced at the Annual General Meeting (AGM):

• Date: Tuesday, February 24, 2026
• Time: 1:00 p.m. – 3:00 p.m. NST
• Location: Studio D, JAG Hotel
