It’s Good Business – Responsible Alcohol Service
Changing the view of alcohol service in the tourism/hospitality industry
It’s Good Business is an online program meant to educate servers in the responsible service of alcohol. There is a program for both servers and managers. Following study of the online modules, participants must successfully complete a multiple choice test in order to obtain their Responsible Alcohol Service certificate.
The It’s Good Business-Responsible Alcohol Service program (Newfoundland and Labrador) is about changing views of alcohol service in the tourism/hospitality industry. The consumption of alcohol has changed. Public attitudes have changed. Laws and regulations have changed. Employees and employers who serve alcohol need to understand their role in response to this new business environment. This program blends good business sense with good corporate citizenship.
Upon successful completion of the program, participants will be emailed a certificate to recognize the completion of this program.
