Tourism Week 2017
Tourism Week in Canada aligns tourism organizations, businesses and other partners from across the country around a common vision: a tourism sector unencumbered by government policies and recognized for its contribution to the Canadian economy.
Calling all Tourism Champions: May 28 – June 3, 2017 is Tourism Week in Canada!
Tourism Week in Canada is a grassroots initiative that brings attention to the economic opportunity available to Canada through travel and tourism and the public policy challenges preventing the sector from capitalizing on those opportunities. The aim of Tourism Week is to align tourism organizations, businesses and other partners from across the country around a common vision: a tourism sector unencumbered by government policies and recognized for its contribution to the Canadian economy.
Throughout the week, national and provincial tourism industry leaders will work to elevate the profile of the industry as a long-term strategic solution for economies. Hospitality Newfoundland and Labrador is looking forward to celebrating Tourism Week with industry partners by participating in special events throughout the province, highlighting the tremendous value of tourism and travel to Newfoundland and Labrador. If you have an event taking place during Tourism Week that you would like to highlight, please let us know by contacting firstname.lastname@example.org or 1-800-563-0700.
