Experience Development Best Practices Panel coming to Hospitality NL’s 2017 Conference & Trade Show

Hospitality Newfoundland and Labrador is pleased to present a panel of tourism champions to discuss best practices in product/experience development at the Annual Conference & Trade Show.

As one of the seven strategic directions outlined in our industry’s vision (Vision 2020), product or experience, development is incredibly important to ensuring Newfoundland and Labrador’s tourism industry delivers on our brand promise and provides visitors with one of a kind, memorable experiences.

Join Carol-Ann Gilliard, Director of Strategic Product Development with the Department of Business, Tourism, Culture & Rural Development as she outlines provincial tourism product development priorities and how they will help guide us on the home stretch to Vision 2020. Following that presentation, Hospitality NL will bring together a diverse panel of tourism operators, stakeholders and partners to share their experiences, strategies and best practices for developing and delivering truly unique and culturally rich tourism experiences. Hospitality NL welcomes to the panel Todd Perrin of Mallard Cottage, Ian Stone of Taste of Gros Morne, Jill Curran of Maxxim Vacations and Glenn Keough from Parks Canada.

Hospitality Newfoundland and Labrador’s leadership will also provide an update on the association’s advocacy efforts pertaining to key policy issues affecting the provincial tourism industry. In addition, this session is an opportunity for delegates to comment on advocacy issues that have an impact on their tourism businesses.

Hospitality NL’s 2017 Conference and Trade Show will feature an exciting line-up of sessions and events, a supplier-focused trade show and exclusive learning and networking opportunities for all tourism stakeholders in attendance. In addition to the invaluable connections to be made with fellow tourism operators and leaders, the event features Hospitality NL’s Annual General Meeting, partner Luncheons, local fun night and, of course, the Awards Gala recognizing some of our industry’s most innovative and talented individuals!

Hospitality NL’s Annual Conference and Trade Show is the largest annual gathering of tourism operators within the province and is taking place in Gander, February 21-23, 2017. Visit www.hnl.ca/conference to learn more and register today!
