Tourism Awareness Week, taking place June 6th to 12th, is a national initiative that shines the spotlight on the contribution that tourism makes both economically and socially to each region of the country. HNL participates in this annual event by partnering with local tourism organizations throughout the province to showcase innovative experiences that are offered in Newfoundland and Labrador and demonstrate how tourism contributes to the economy of Newfoundland and Labrador, its standard of living, and the quality of life of residents.
