John Atkins & Co. Wins Top Awards - September 18, 2009

St. John's, NL (September 15, 2009) - John Atkins & Co. (JAC) is proud to announce that it has been awarded both Outstanding Achievement and Best in Class for Website Development by the Interactive Media Awards™ for Visit Humber Valley (Travel/Tourism) and Special Olympics, NL (Charity), respectively. The honor recognizes that the projects met and surpassed the highest standards of excellence that comprise the internet's most professional work.

The judging consisted of various criteria, including design, usability, innovation in technical features, standards compliance and content. In order to win this award level, the site had to meet strict guidelines in each area - an achievement only a fraction of sites in the IMA competition earn each quarter. Judges included executives from American Express, New Line Cinema, Time Warner, CNN and OgilvyOne Worldwide.

John Atkins, President of JAC, stated "The Interactive Media Awards are a highly sought-after prize, and this nod from IMA is a demonstration of our ability to generate world-class work and capitalize on our close working relationships with our clients. We feel strongly that our projects are excellent examples of how the Internet can be used to enhance a company's message and branding."
