| WINNING AWARDS IS SECOND NATURE FOR THE QUALITY HOTEL-HARBOURVIEW - January 19, 2009 | St. John’s, Newfoundland & Labrador (January 16, 2009) The Quality Hotel-Harbourview in St. John’s has received Choice Hotels Canada’s highest level of recognition – the 2008 Gold Hospitality Award. The hotel was previously honoured with a 2006 award and was selected as a finalist for the Canadian Hotel of the Year award.
A Gold Hospitality Award is a clear demonstration of a hotel’s operational strength and commitment to hospitality excellence. Canadian recipients scored high-marks for cleanliness, property maintenance, brand standard compliance and a strong desire to meet guest needs. The Quality Hotel-Harbourview was one of just 22 hotels that achieved this distinction out of more than 280 Choice hotels across Canada.
