EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR
Trails to the Vikings, western Newfoundland’s exciting and vibrant member-based,
Industry driven, tourism destination marketing organization is seeking an energetic,
self motivated individual to lead our team.
Trails to the Vikings covers the scenic and culturally rich area from Port aux Basques to St. Anthony and southern Labrador,
Our Executive Director should have:
• Knowledge of current trends in tourism Management experience, preferably in business, organizational development and tourism
• Experience working with and reporting to a Board of Directors Demonstrated experience in finance, budgeting, grantsmanship and strategic planning
• Ability to oversee and manage all aspects of a non profit organization or private sector organization
• Proven track record in membership recruitment and engagement
• Strong interpersonal skills and ability to build collaborative and collegial relationships among staff, board and external partners.
• Experience in working in a multi-dimensional non profit organization or private sector organization
• Educational or equivalent industry experience
Salary to commensurate with qualifications and experience.
