| Canjet Celebrates 100 Years of Flight with $100 Seat Sale - December 19, 2003 | Low-fare carrier CanJet is celebrating 100 years of flight with a five-day seat sale featuring return fares starting at $100 (plus fees and taxes) on domestic routes.
'Customers can purchase seats on CanJet for travel between our Canadian destinations starting at only $100 return, plus applicable fees and taxes,' said Doug Newson, the airline's director of marketing and sales. 'We are offering literally thousands of return fares at this $100 low seat sale price for five days only with the sale ending this Sunday, Dec. 21. I strongly encourage customers to buy early.'
He added that customers purchasing seats at this price have up to 100 days from Dec. 17 until March 27, 2004 to complete their travel.
Newson said, 'One hundred years ago on this date, the Wright brothers flew for the first time from Kitty Hawk and air travel has never been the same.'
