Industry Consultations to Review the Tourist Establishment Act and Regulations and the Innkeepers Act

Hospitality Newfoundland and Labrador is working with the Department of Tourism, Culture and Recreation to conduct stakeholder consultations regarding the review of the Tourist Establishment Act and Regulations and the Innkeepers Act. A Review Committee comprised of industry members, HNL and the department has been established to facilitate the review.

The purpose of the review is to obtain input and suggestions from industry on the function, purpose and the role of the existing Tourist Establishment Act and Regulations and the Innkeepers Act. These discussions will help inform recommendations for where the province goes regarding the tourist establishment licensing process.
