Legendary Coasts of Eastern Newfoundland (EDMO) is excited to offer the final of four tourism seminars in partnership with Hospitality NL and Bonavista Institute for Cultural Tourism!
All seminars are open to the public so please choose the one convenient for you – or attend all four!

Heather has been a passionate advocate of cultural tourism for over two decades in a variety roles in both Europe and Canada, including Vice President, National Programs for Routes to Learning Canada, and studying Cultural and Heritage Tourism and Experiential Travel for the Canadian Tourism Commission. Through her consulting firm, Culture Quest International, Heather’s work has been published in travel and tourism reports, articles and conference proceedings.
Heather now works for Parks Canada as External Relations Manager, Outreach and Engagement, where she oversees Learning and Education, Youth Engagement, New Canadian Engagement and Urban Outreach from a national perspective. Previously, she was the Visitor Experience Manager for Eastern Ontario and the Rideau Canal National Historic Site of Canada – a UNESCO World Heritage Site.
Heather has been a curriculum designer and instructor for the Bonavista Institute for Cultural Tourism since 2009. She has been the Instructor for three courses for the Bonavista Institute: “Culinary Tourism and the Arts” and the “Introduction to Cultural Tourism 101 and 201″ online distance learning courses.
