Canada’s East Coast Job Fair in Ireland

From November 7-12, 2011, Atlantic employers will attend a skilled worker promotion and attraction
event in Ireland, to recruit prospective workers for difficult-to-fill positions. This event which will be led
by the Office of Immigration and Multiculturalism in Newfoundland and Labrador will include a three
day job fair, with a welcome reception in Cork and an evening reception in Dublin with the Canadian
Ambassador to Ireland. The job fair will focus on bringing together Atlantic employers with skilled
workers who are looking to work and relocate to Canada’s East Coast. This event is being sponsored by
the Atlantic Population Table, a cooperative venture between five governments: Canada, New Brunswick,
Prince Edward Island, Nova Scotia, and Newfoundland & Labrador.
